Beginning a New Life with
Recovery from Addiction

At The Good Samaritan’s Inn, each day is structured,
and every student is under the continuous guidance of
trained Christian counselors. Our mission is to guide
participants through a proven process of recovery from
addiction to drugs or alcohol, and to provide them with
the tools they need to be successful in life. Unlike virtually
every other program, there is never any cost whatsoever
to the participant, or his family.

Recovery from addiction generally requires a commitment
of six months. This program is designed for men 18 and older
who suffer from, and want recovery from addiction, and who
want a permanent, positive change in their lives and lifestyles.

Recovery from addiction can be challenging, but it has incredible,
lasting rewards. Those who experience full recovery from addiction
during this program are able to return to their families, jobs and
communities with a purpose, a renewed sense of inner peace and
optimism, and an understanding of the virtues of responsibility
and commitment.

Recovery from addiction in the GSI program begins with an
interview by phone, followed by a meeting with the Director.
After acceptance, residents follow a daily schedule that
combines work, study and fellowship:

6:00 am – 6:45 am wake up shower
6:45 am – 7:15 am breakfast
7:20 am – 7:55 am morning prayer and DMI
(Daily Moral Inventory)
8:00 am – 9:00 am 1st class
9:00 am – 10:00 am 2nd class
10:30 am – 4:30 pm job assignment
(All students must be at job by 10:30 am)
5:30 pm – 6:00 pm dinner
(exceptions on Fri. will be served at 5:00 pm)
6:00 pm – dark, limit 9:00 pm recreation
Lights off at 10:30 pm

Each student attends 2 classes per day, taught by
qualified Pastors and Teachers.

After six months, participants who choose to, can renew their
stay for an additional six months. Re-entry allows participants
who graduate the program to remain here and get fully
re-established in their lives. They can now leave The Inn to
work and save money to secure a car, a home, insurance, etc.
Re-entering students agree to abide by the rules for all of the
time they stay with us.

If you or someone who care about is suffering, and recognizes
they need help, our addiction recovery mission maybe the answer
you’ve been searching. Email us for more information.

Recovery from addiction is a mission of The Good Samaritan’s
