If someone you love is suffering from drug
or alcohol abuse, The Good Samaritan's Inn
can provide a program of hope, help . . .
and a powerful, life-changing alternative to the danger of the
streets, to prison . . . to broken homes and failed relationships.
If you have reached the end of your rope and have tried all you know to try,
our center can show you that there is a light . . . at the end of this darkness and
despair
through our successful free drug treatment program.
The Good Samaritan's Inn is a
Christian ministry founded on love and
compassion as described by Jesus in the parable of The Good Samaritan
in Luke 10:30-37 . . .“a certain man . . . fell among thieves. But a certain
Samaritan had compassion on him. Which now . . . was neighbor to him
that fell among the thieves? And He said, he that showed mercy on him.
Then Jesus said. Go and do likewise.”
Since The Good Samaritan’s Inn was founded in 1982, hundreds of men
throughout the USA and especially the Cincinnati, Ohio area
have found new
life, and new choices, through our 6-month residential treatment
program.
Many men today are moving above the devastation of their former
addictions
through the strong Christian faith that was developed and
nurtured during
their stay at the GSI center.
Every person is a unique and valued individual,
but our Christian goals for them are the same:
- To bring healing, and the realization of becoming a
new creation in Christ, to people who are suffering
- To teach the Word of God so that it delivers the total
freedom that God desires for them. John 8:31-32
- To restore broken relationships between spouses, children,
family and friends and to provide a structure that serves the needs of all,
so that they are kept "in the way," thus fulfilling Luke 10:25-37
Many years ago, God gave us this purpose, and a desire to help people who
were in pain, and in danger. Today, as we marvel at what God has already done,
we see The Good Samaritan's Inn as just the beginning of our
Christian journey.
Today, The Good Samaritan's Inn Ministry is a residential rehabilitation center
for adult men, offering individuals in trouble, and those who care about them,
a safe, secure
alternative to addiction, prison, and the dangers of a dysfunctional
lifestyle.
We are now in our 26th year of providing faith-based
Christian
drug and alcohol recovery services.
